Weekly Report – 23rd October-29th October 2023

Dublin Marathon

Nothing to report in terms of races in Northern Ireland this weekend, however three Orangegrovers made the journey south for the Dublin Marathon. Congratulations to each of you, especially impressive with the awful weather conditions which ranged from just rain to torrential rain. I’m sure it won’t be too long before you have the next one booked!

Danny Bradley – 2.54.14
Rachel Woodman – 3.48.56
Kimberley Reynolds – 4.08.57

Parkrun Report

28/10/23

The big news from last weekend’s parkrun was Andrew McIntyre finishing first at Stormont parkrun with a time of 17.50. Well done, comfortably ahead of 2nd place and it doesn’t make it any less impressive that they were literally a child.

Elsewhere Emily Paisley did some tourism visiting Derry City parkrun for the first time – her 24th parkrun location. Special mention to Gemma Blake and Gerald Harvey who ran their fastest 5k of the year on Saturday, just one week before the handicapped club championship 5k – nice one folks.

Great running everybody!
