Weekly Report – 27th February-5th March 2023
Carlingford Half Marathon & 10k
A good turnout from Orangegrove AC on the Cooley Peninsula. Despite the brutal ascent in the opening 5km and the usual horrible coastal wind some amazing times were recorded. Great running everyone, and a special thanks to Adrienne Savage who made the trip down to support those running and got some great photos.

Parkrun Report
04/03/23
A big PB achieved this week is the main news, Andrew Tees completed Victoria Park parkrun in 16.21. That’s 1 minute and 13 seconds off his previous best time! Nice work, but not good enough to get the win at Victoria Park as Andrew had to settle for 2nd place…
Meanwhile at Talkin Tarn Country Park parkrun Danny Bradley did get the win! He finished 1st with a time of 19.13 – obviously not a very competitive field if you can finish first with that time.
Congrats to them both on some great running!
Congrats as well to Chris Woods at Stormont on his 100th parkrun. Chris’ best time was in 2019 when he ran a 19.10 parkrun in Victoria Park – this had an age-grading of 79.48%! His best ever position was in 2017 at Colin Glen when he finished 8th with a time of 20.57. Here’s to the next 100!
