Kennedy Kane McArthur Half Marathon
The Pure Running Half Marathon Series continues on through the summer. The 7th event out 10 started in the quiet village of Dervock near Ballymoney before going on to Stranocum and past the famous Dark Hedges of Armoy. A couple of hundred runners did the Half Marathon event, and 3 OAC athletes were in attendance. Series veterans Darren Moffett and Paul Edgar, and Leann Gibson.
Leann Gibson did spectacularly well in what would be one of the tougher half marathons, setting a new ladies half marathon club record of 1h31m36s, and was 4th lady overall in the event and second in age category.
Darren Moffett finished with a solid time of 1h50m37s, as did Paul Edgar at 2h18m45s.
