Polar Night Half Marathon & 10k
On Saturday 4th January 2 OAC athletes, Paul Woodman and Joy McAleer went international and journeyed to Tromso in Norway for the annual Polar Night Half Marathon & 10k.
In this candlelit route on the snow in the depths of winter, both athletes did superbly. Paul Woodman in the Half marathon finished in 4th place with a superb time of 1h22m10s.
Joy was the 19th female with a time of 50m06s. Paul was even featured in the local press http://bit.ly/1f9eOXy
Perhaps Paul’s minimalist approach to race clothing is an inspiration to us all!
